Sólo he "reconocío":
08- Jimmy Elis, unmistakably (& The Trammps). la canción, n.p.i.

Veamos,

7) Blue Magic - Let Me Be The One

Hi SoulBrother"

Ok, sorry but i have to say you that you answer correctly only 1 song.

ACIERTOS
05) The Chi-Lites - Stop Still

Although on 6, 9 and 10 you are VERY CLOSE, but not correct.

Javier Di Granti dijo...

eyy miriameta!

You're right Solsoul,
there are mistakes in my answers;
the song n.10 by The Tymes is
All You Ever Wanted to Know About Love (I downloaded this beautiful album from your blog, thanks a lot).
I listened again song n.6: the title is correct (Teaser) but I think they are The Dells.
About song n.9, I think the title is Falling In love Again but maybe the singer is Stacy Lattisaw.
Bye

Javier Di Granti dijo...

GREAT soulbrother!

CORRECT ANSWERS:
6) The Dells - Teaser (right, they were the Dells and NOT The Trammps ;))
10) The Tymes - All You Ever Wanted to Know About Love

BUT, the 9 is not Stacy Lattisaw!
Ok, the song is indeed titled "Falling In Love Again" but.. who is the group?

There is a cool DRAW between you and "zeca" with 3 correct answers for each one.

Its difficult, but not impossible, c'mon!!

zeca dijo...

I don't remember hearing this song, FALLING IN LOVE AGAIN. The group? THE JONES GIRLS, perhaps?

Anónimo dijo...

I try
9)The Beck Family - Falling In Love Again

Anónimo dijo...

This is almost ending!! Just one track... What emotion...!

Congratulations to Zeca and Soulbrother (by now 3 correct responses every one)

Hey, Solsoul is not for nothing, but i said, about the track 6 that "seems the Marvin Junior voice of The Dells singing Teaser or perhaps, Terry Collins..." I see I don't was totally wrong. For curiousity, I wonder if this "Teaser" version by The Dells was recorded before the one by The Trammps on their 1979 album "Whole World's Dancing" or later. I know Norman Harris produced one Dells album on the mid 70's ("They Said It Is Impssible But...") but I don't know the track-list.

Have you the "I Salute You" CD by The Dells on PIR...? I got and decieved me a lot (except two or, maximum, three tracks).

Cheers, Peace & Soul Food

Javier Di Granti dijo...

OH NOooo.. sorry mates, no one has succed.
Its not The Jones Girls and Not The Beck Family..

mmmm ok: The track is from 1976 ON CAPITOL RECORDS and was released only as a 45 (with another track on side b)!

Capitol Records...? 1976...? "Fallin' In Love Again" by Melba Moore (seguramente producida por McFadden & Whitehead)

Javier Di Granti dijo...

:D

Anónimo dijo...

Hi Solsoul,
it was a little bit difficult but now I'm sure.
9) Gentle Persuasion - Falling In Love Again

b side: A Little Bit Of Love

Thanks again for the Philly Game.

Javier Di Granti dijo...

YUHUUUUUUUUUUU!

YOU ARE THA MAN, BRO!

Great, this was the correct answer.

Anónimo dijo...

Congratulations, Soulbrother!

I can't wait for the Philly Game # 2!
(We can made a Philly Game every week...!, ;-) )

Hey, Solsoul.

(Philly) Soul Food for Everybody!

Javier Di Granti dijo...

Pues bien, un día la Pantoja presentó el programa, compartiendo escenario con LOU RAWLS, quien interpretó "One Life To Live" y "Let Me Be Good To You".

Saludos efusivos for everybody!

Javier Di Granti dijo...

http://www.flickr.com/photos/alexs4

Saludos efusivos
